Doll House

The Show: Peter Jensen Fall 2010

This was another show that made me happy that I work in fashion. Even though I was not madly in love with the shoes—except for a lace-up bootie that came in hunter green—that did not steer me away from loving this whimsical collection. Congrats to Monsieur Jensen, this was his first time showing in the U.S. and the turnout was great. The pieces and the ambience  brought me back to when I was thirteen and loved dressing up dolls and my little brother.  Now if only he would hire me to design his shoes.

About Me

Addiction is never a good thing, but sometimes it's just what you need in order to make you happy. In my case, my shoe addiction has consumed every aspect of my life. I wonder about shoes constantly, conjure up styles that don't even exist, go crazy over anything from bougie heels to lowbrow knockoffs, drool over any stylish concoctions, and fawn over my ludicrous collection, which you will see through my weird photoshoot. (I will also showcase some heels on other peoples feet.) I am secretly an Imelda Marcos hater who does not like cheese.
